BIO
Justin Lennōx Williams moves through the world with a camera in hand and an eye attuned to the deeper layers of every moment. A Philadelphia native now working between Los Angeles and London, his work goes beyond capturing images—it’s about uncovering stories and emotions that often go unnoticed.
His images exist in two realms—dreamlike yet sharp, intimate yet expansive. He captures the quiet moments in between, the ones that linger long after the flash fades. His commercial work is polished, exacting, designed to hold its place in the modern visual landscape. But his portraits feel like memory. Like something just on the edge of a dream.
With a diverse toolkit that spans 16mm, Super 8, 35mm, medium format, and soon, large format photography, Justin embraces the tactile nature of each medium, using them to push the boundaries of his craft while maintaining an ever-evolving approach to storytelling.
Over the years, his work has found its way into campaigns for Nike, Tony Hawk x Starbucks, Comme des Garçons, James Bay, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Ayra Starr. He photographs not just to record, but to reveal.
“Through the lens; we see ourselves.”
For Williams, photography is more than composition, more than light and shadow. It is a means of understanding people, of uncovering the unseen. Every subject tells a story; every frame is a reflection.
And when he isn’t behind the camera, he is still chasing feeling—curating records for Hound for Aesthetic, a project born from the same reverence for texture, history, and sound.
Still looking. Still learning. Still seeing.
